Our Managing Director 

As a culture and change management professional, Gabrielle O'Donovan has worked with major blue-chip companies for many years. She wears multiple hats and is a practitioner, author, keynote speaker and university professor. 

Practitioner

Gabrielle developed her initial repertoire of skills by working on a range of major initiatives for Cathay Pacific Airways, Hong Kong during much of the 1990s. Her HSBC culture change programme "Together, We Win!" won numerous awards (including an ASTD Excellence in Practice Award in 2005), and her work as stakeholder management executive lead for the building of Terminal Two at Dublin Airport helped secure key permissions and approvals.  Gabrielle is helping implement the Solvency II framework at insurance company Friends Life, UK, as Stakeholder Management and Communications Lead.

The Corporate Culture Handbook: How to Plan, Implement, and Measure a Successful Culture Change

Her articles have been published in Corporate Governance International, Banking Today, Best Practices Management and The International Journal of Knowledge, Culture and Change. Gabrielle is currently completing her new change management book; this outlines a strategic and holistic approach to stakeholder management that will optimise stakeholder support and pave the way for any permissions and approvals required. This work is based on her experiences as the stakeholder management executive lead for the building of the new airport terminal at Dublin Airport, Ireland.

Gabrielle is Associate Professor on Best Practice Strategic Management for the Professional MBA class at Danube University, Austria.  She has also lectured at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China and was responsible for the masters degree module on organizational culture and change.  "The Corporate Culture Handbook" is the official course textbook for both programmes.

Affiliations

Gabrielle is a member of numerous professional societies (including the Society of Leadership & Change, the Society of Authors, the Institute of Management Consultants, the Strategic Planning Society and Mensa), and has also served as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Knowledge, Culture and Change Management.
